2. Go to the first chapter page, time somewhere on this page the text you would like for the left header and the text you want for the right header . Make the text colors for example red and green, so it stands out well. In the final pdf file this will be deleted.

3. Click the button "styles and formatting" so the stylesheet appears.

4. Click the cursor on the first red line. Move your cursor to the inputbox (see image) and create a new style by typing the name of the new style, for example: header left. Then press enter. The style appears in the stylesheet. Do the same for the header right.

7. Then select from the options Fieldnames the name: Styleref. In the next field, choose the style you want to link to the field, in this case 'header left'. Click Ok. Do the same for the header on the right page.

8. Go to the next chapter page. Type again the desired text for headings, apply the header left and header right style. The running titles will appear.

If you want to leave out a certain heading, for example on chapters for summary, where you don't have a chaper number: use a paragraph mark and give this the style header left.

Your document now has the correct headers. You can not remove red text. In the final PDF these can be easily removed.
The same goes for headers on black pages or titlepages, we can remove them easily.
