If you have ideas for the cover design of your book, but are unable to make a complete print-ready file, you can still save money by providing a sketch in PowerPoint. Your PowerPoint design can then be implemented into a professional design program by our studio staff. Through the use of such PowerPoint files, you can provide our employees with a good understanding of what you want, thus saving time.
It is not possible to make a 100% print-ready file directly from PowerPoint or MSWord because these programs do not support color separation. What should a design sketch look like?Create a rough sketch in PowerPoint, so we get an idea of your wishes. Put in the image (if you want one), and the title / author name. You do not need take into account precise measurements, but make sure that the images are large enough. If neccecary, you can explain this example by mail or telephone, for example if you want a specific color or font.
Can I deliver a cover in MSWord?A cover sketch delivered in MSWord is somewhat more difficult, but also possible.
