In October 2005 appeared above publication of the Historical Society Sibbe-IJzeren, a regional-historical contribution of a group of friends born in Sibbe consisting January Heuts, Hans Franssen, January Gelissen, Rene Heuts, Joseph Jacobs and Wim Heuts. Purpose of the book is a broad historical overview of the development of IJzeren-Sibbe of the pre-history to the present. The book is a feast of recognition for anyone who is born at Sibbe and IJzeren and a nicely illustrated book for those looking for information on these villages.

What you can expect reading this book is a broad view and a detailed position description of the origins and development of Sibbe and IJzeren. The book consists of two parts headlines. The first part deals primarily in a descriptive manner the general history of Sibbe and IJzeren and located in the region. The second part of the book is lighter in scope and deals on the basis of a number of topics include the daily life and social developments of the two nuclei. The book is sure to older readers often result in recognition and memory.
For the youth and perhaps the school children is a reference book that provides insight into the past of their own environment.
